This workshop is only for females.
The purpose of this workshop is to enable the audience to create interactive electronic objects using Arduino.
The speakers will share their expenses in using Arduino to inspire females to use Arduino for innovation and design.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Arduino from A to Z, kinds, properties and characteristics of some the sensors and motors, introduction to robotics and programing.
These topics will be described through few simple experiments so, in the end of the workshop the trainees will be able to make a robot.
Having such experience will help spread the knowledge and expand the females’ involvement in engineering and technology in the Gulf Region.
Eng.Leena Basri is a lecturer at Dhahran Technology Institute. She is a Facilitator assistant in electronics and Arduino zone at FABLAB Dhahran since 2015. She obtained her BS in Biomedical engineering from University of Dammam. She is interesting in technology and innovation.
Ms.Safia Saif is a lecturer at Dhahran Technology Institute. She is Facilitator and lecturer in Electronics and Arduino zone at FABLAB Dhahran. She obtained her BS in Information Technology and Computing ITC from Arab Open University with Second Class Honours
Ms.Sara Bawazeer is a lecturer at Dhahran Technology Institute. She is studying Information Technology and Computing ITC in Arab Open University. She participates in many programs such as prototyping week and telescope program . She was volunteer in FABLAB Dhahran for several months.
Mrs. Ala Abdullah, Director of Financial Management and Marketing and Manager of Female Section, Dhahran Technology Institute. She studied computer science from Dammam Community College in 2006.
